Whilst living at Boone’s Homes can offer you peace and quiet, there are also lots of opportunities to get involved in the active community through a regular programme of residents’ social events.
There is a regular weekly programme of activities for residents at Christopher Boone’s Court run by Age Exchange. These activities include chair yoga, singing and art classes. These activities are funded by Merchant Taylors' Boone's Charity and are free for Boone's Homes residents.
There are several events held throughout the year for residents. These include a Summer Cream Tea in July and a barbeque in early September, both of which are held at Christopher Boone’s Court. Boone’s Homes residents are also invited to events at Merchant Taylors' Hall in Central London twice a year, for a Christmas Dinner and to attend a concert.
There are also frequent events and activities organised by residents, such as regular coffee mornings and a curry club. Residents have also held recent events including a party for the coronation of King Charles III as well as Desert Island Discs focused on a different resident each time.
There are spacious communal areas for residents, including a library nook, clubroom and garden room.
